Alec Loorz - Cultivating, Connecting, Empowering, Exploring

Alec Loorz started iMatterYouthMovement in 2007 when he was 13-years-old. Nine years later the group is still growing, based on its core the belief that Alec's generation can break through today's politics to inspire leaders to govern "as if our future matters." Here is a short video on iMatterYouth:

Mr. Loorz is currently engaged in work as a Spiritual Ecology fellow. "At age 22, Alec is now a documentary filmmaker committed to using his deeply personal story to ask questions that probe beyond the usual environmental rhetoric.
