Human Activities You Can See From Space

Global population has more than doubled in the last 50 years. We'll cross the 7.5 Billion mark within the next few months. But it was just 213 years ago that the Earth first hit 1 Billion people in population. Thomas Jefferson was running for reelection. According to World Wildlife Fund, 58% of the Earth's wildlife (aka. most of what we call the Creation) has been destroyed by human expansion since 1970. The last 50 years have been truly phenomenal in terms of environmental changes--and that's not only destroying the Creator's works, it has progressed to the point of threatening our immediate future. --ChrisS
